Reggae Nostalgia Radio 20th Anniversary Speech

Greetings one and all! This year is a milestone worth celebrating as we mark 20 glorious years of Reggae Nostalgia Radio on the internet. Twenty years of good vibes, conscious lyrics, and authentic reggae sounds have brought us together as a family from all corners of the world. It’s been an incredible journey, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you—our loyal listeners, our reggae family, and our steadfast supporters.

To everyone who has tuned in, shared our programs, and supported us through thick and thin, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Your undying love and listenership have been the wind beneath our wings, and we couldn’t have asked for a more loyal community to share this musical journey with.

As we continue this journey, we’re excited to announce that Reggae Nostalgia Radio will now be hosted on Blastradio.com/reggaenostalgia, where we will be offering more programs than ever before. Bigger, better, and with the same heart and soul that has defined us over the years.

A special and personal thank you to the individuals who have played a significant role in our journey: Ivan Linton of ARROW International, Trevor Elliott of The Musical Ambassador, Ewing and Brandon of Jamrock Dub, the talented artists Tanya Mullings, Tasha T, Michael Gibbs aka Tsunami, Empress Minott, Angel In Zion, Shelly Thunder, Chevelle Franklyn, Pressa Wilfred of Radio RCH23.com, Flavius Laidley, Pam Hall, Chef Sinclair and the Tapioca Family, Culture Gad, Colin Gray, Shaun Gayle, Andrew Roberts, and certainly not least, the late Conrod Jones, known as Con or Father Con.

To those who may not have been mentioned by name but have contributed in countless ways, we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you. Your contributions have been invaluable, and Reggae Nostalgia would not be what it is today without you.

As we look ahead to the future, we do so with excitement, hope, and unwavering commitment to keeping the reggae flame alive. Here’s to more music, more unity, and more love as we journey onward together!

I’ll close with a quote that perfectly captures the essence of this moment:
“One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”Bob Marley

Thank you for 20 amazing years. The best is yet to come! Blessings and love to you all.

One love!
